CTE - Welcome to the Real World (Day 2)

Description

Join us for our Welcome to the Real World event, where students will step into a hands-on simulation of adult life and financial decision-making. Upon arrival, participants will receive their first paycheck and navigate interactive booths covering essential expenses such as housing, groceries, transportation, professional attire, insurance, and utilities, while also exploring charitable giving and entertainment options. Students will experience real-life unpredictability through the Reality Wheel, which introduces unexpected financial changes. The event also features breakout sessions focused on building critical soft skills—such as communication, body language, and time management—and provides the opportunity to participate in mock interviews with HR professionals, helping students prepare for future job and scholarship opportunities.
