Dr. Matthew Brantley is the CEO of Brazos Innovation Partners (BIP), where he is dedicated to turning breakthrough discoveries in deep tech into real-world solutions. Passionate about fostering innovation, Brantley has spent his career helping researchers and entrepreneurs navigate the complex path from ideation to commercialization—building companies, forging partnerships, and driving technology that changes industries. Brantley holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Baylor University and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Tyler. His expertise in intelligent automation, machine learning, and big-data analytics has shaped his approach to guiding deep-tech startups toward scalable market success. Before leading BIP, Brantley served as Director of Technology Commercialization and Industry Engagement at Baylor University, where he helped bridge academia and industry. He played a key role in establishing the Lab to Market (L2M) Collaborative, laying the foundation for multiple technology startups—including 6P Color, Inc., where he continues to serve as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). At BIP, Brantley is focused on connecting bold ideas with the resources they need to thrive. He works closely with researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to turn cutting-edge tech into market-ready solutions.
