The Annual Tip Off Sports Luncheon, with presenting sponsor Jim Turner Chevrolet, is the precursor to basketball season in Waco. Join us on October 16, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. for an exciting afternoon featuring three legendary coaches on one stage! This year's Tip Off Luncheon brings together Jody Conradt from the UT Austin, Gary Blair from Texas A&M, and Marsha Sharp of Texas Tech for a conversation you won't hear from the sidelines.
National championships. Rivalries. Recruiting battles. Leadership lessons. The moments that changed women's basketball in Texas.
No speeches. No playbook. Just stories. Legends at Tip Off, three icons, one stage, and a lifetime of stories.
We will also hear insights from our very own basketball coaches of McLennan Community College and Baylor University as they preview the upcoming season.
