2023 Economic Outlook Luncheon
Thursday, December 7, 2023 (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM) (CST)
Description
Join us in bringing the business community together to explore economic development work and progress over the past year and provide a vision for what the next year may hold. By leveraging academic and professional thought leaders, participants will hear about trends, programs, projects, and initiatives that will continue to thrust Waco forward.
During the Economic Outlook Luncheon on Dec. 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Baylor University's Hurd Welcome Center, we'll hear a data-driven presentation from Curtis Dubay, Chief Economist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Dubay will discuss the latest in labor market trends, consumer spending, the forecast for inflation and interest rates, his expectations for the performance of our economy in 2024 and 2025, and more. You won't want to miss his presentation, plus a panel discussion featuring the CEOs from the Cen-Tex African American Chamber, the Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber and our very own, Matt Meadors.
Pre-registration is required to attend. If you are having trouble registering or have questions about the event, please email agomez@wacochamber.com or call 254-757-5617.
