LEAD - Welcome to the Real World (Day 2)

Description

When students arrive, they will receive their first paycheck based on the information provided at the end of day 1.

They will then visit booths around the room to spend their first check.

Booths will include:

Housing - rent, lease, buy

Groceries - national brand name or store brand

Transportation - buy or lease a car or grab a Waco Transit pass

Clothing - professional attire for that important job interview

Insurance - make sure your home, car and even yourself are insured

Utilities - make sure your home or apartment has electricity, trash pickup, water, cable/Wi-Fi

Charitable giving - it's so important to give back to the community. it may not be financial but maybe its your time. learn how.

Entertainment - hopefully after all your bills are paid you have some "fun" money to spend. Stop by these tables to see what they offer.

Reality Wheel - take a spin at the wheel, you never know what unexpected expense or gift could be coming your way!!
